Most of our shows are timed to music. This one was timed to a person talking — the bride recorded a voiceover narrating the couple's relationship, and the entire drone sequence was built to land specific formations at specific lines. That's a different kind of choreography problem than syncing to a beat, and it's one of the more technically demanding shows we've built.
Right After the Pheras, Not Hours Later
The show ran immediately after sunset pheras rather than being scheduled as a separate later slot — meaning the emotional momentum from the ceremony carried straight into the drone sequence instead of a gap breaking it up. Guests were still standing where the ceremony had just ended when the first drones lifted off.

A Timeline in the Sky
As the voiceover moved through their story — first meeting, then the proposal — the drones tracked it formation by formation: an early heart shape for the beginning, then the couple's names, building toward a final combined formation as the narration reached the present. Getting the timing right meant rehearsing against the actual recorded audio, not an approximate cue sheet.

The Takeaway
Beachfront venues add their own variable — wind off the Arabian Sea has to be factored into flight planning in a way inland venues don't require. Combined with narration-synced timing, this was one of the more logistically layered shows on our list, and also one of the ones guests talk about most afterward.
